Heating and Cooling
Casa Mandarina is an old house and does not have central heating or air conditioning. However, we have various forms of heating for the winter months and effective fans for the summer months.
Heating

In the lounge there is a very effective log burner which will warm the room to a good temperature and will also gently warm the kitchen diner.
In each of the bedrooms, there is a plug-in oil filled radiator as well as an infra-red wall panel heater. The kitchen also has an infra-red wall panel heater. The bathroom has an electric towel rail.

Cooling

As an old house, the walls are very thick which helps to keep the heat out. In the summer, we have tabletop fans. These fans are very efficient with a number of different settings as well as being very quiet. The advantage of tabletop fans are that they can be easily moved to wherever you are.
