It's been a while..... nearly a year I know but we have been busy with bookings! So what has been happening? Well after a cold but dry winter, in March, Alhama was hit by the calima where sand from the Sahara was blown over in strong winds. This was then mixed with heavy rain to fall as 'mud rain'! Our newly painted white washed walls in the patio and the front of the house were now covered in orangey brown streaks. Oh no! Well there was just one thing for it and another trip back out in April to paint - not too much of a hardship as the weeks of rain had stopped and although it was still chilly especially in the evenings, the sun was shining and the bars and restaurants were calling with their delicious plates of tapas with drinks. It was good to be back!
